Speaker Selection Panel

At the heart of every TEDx event is the power of a great idea — and the people who help bring those ideas to the stage.

Our TEDxAlbury Speaker Selection Panel is made up of curious, thoughtful and passionate individuals from across the Albury-Wodonga community.

Together, they bring a diverse range of perspectives, professional backgrounds and lived experiences to the table.

Their role is to carefully review speaker applications, identify compelling stories and fresh thinking, and help shape a program that reflects our theme: Awaken. Adapt. Evolve.

We’re proud to have this incredible group guiding the journey toward the red dot.

Glen Robinson is a dedicated community leader and business professional based in Albury, New South Wales. With more than 20 years of experience in regional development and small business support, Glen is passionate about driving local economic growth and creating opportunities for future generations. He has played key roles in local council initiatives, business mentoring programs, and regional business sustainability projects. Glen is known for his collaborative approach, strategic thinking, and deep commitment to the Albury-Wodonga region. Glen continues to advocate for regional innovation and resilience, making a lasting impact on the community he proudly calls home.

Ruth Davys holds the role of Vision Keeper for Giilangyaldhaanygalang – Wiradjuri Storytellers, focusing on Wiradjuri Language, Culture & Heritage. With a deep understanding of community protocols, she is a passionate advocate for her people. Ruth actively educates non-Aboriginal individuals about Wiradjuri traditions and values, fostering greater understanding and respect. Her inclusive approach ensures diverse voices are heard. In addition to her advocacy, Ruth expresses her creativity through art, bringing ancestral stories to life. She values family time and finds peace by the river, a sacred place that connects her to her ancestors and their enduring legacy.

Peter Collier is the owner and lead podiatrist at Riverina Podiatry Group in Albury. He is passionate about providing comprehensive foot and lower limb care to the local community, with more than two decades of experience in treating a wide range of podiatric conditions. When he’s not helping patients put their best foot forward, Peter enjoys exploring the Riverina region and staying active with his wife and two girls.

Ann-Maree is one of the driving forces behind TEDxAlbury — a passionate advocate for storytelling, community, and the kind of ideas that make you sit up a little straighter. Originally from country NSW, Ann-Maree has lived and worked across Sydney, London, and regional Australia, bringing with her a big heart and a head full of ideas. With a background in social work and a career that’s taken her from hospitals to high-level executive assistant roles, she’s no stranger to tough conversations or transformative moments.

A long-time local of Albury-Wodonga, Kellie brings more than three decades of experience in communications, marketing, community engagement and creative strategy across the public and not-for-profit sectors. Her work has always centred around connection — helping people find common ground and understand complex ideas. With a background in journalism and a lifelong passion for storytelling, she’s dedicated to creating a platform that amplifies diverse voices, sparks curiosity and connects people through powerful ideas.
