Entertainment application form

We are looking for performers of all kinds who can light up the stage in between TEDx talks with something meaningful or quirky! You’ll have one slot (about 8-10 min) to share with an audience ready to be surprised and entertained.

If you’ve got a performance with a message about life, the world, or the beauty of being human? We want to see it.

Being part of TEDxAlbury as a performer is a fun and rewarding experience. It also involves some coordination in the lead-up to the event, including communication with our team and venue staff, and a full dress rehearsal to ensure everything flows smoothly on the day. We want to be upfront about the time and effort involved so you can fully engage in the experience and get the most out of it.

Before you complete this application, please confirm your availability for the following dates. (Non-negotiable).
In a few sentences, tell us a little about yourself and your work as a performer. What do you do, and what kind of audiences or spaces do you usually perform in? Please also include a clear, high quality headshot. A photo taken on your phone is fine, providing the image is well-lit and clear. (If successful, this bio and photo will be used on the TEDxAlbury website and social channels to introduce you).

Are you currently based in Albury-Wodonga or the immediate surrounding region? (Strongly Preferred)
In a few sentences, describe your proposed performance. This could include the style, format, and the kind of experience you want to create for the audience.
Please share a link to a recent video of your performance (ideally within the past 2–3 years). This doesn’t need to be professionally produced. We just want to get a sense of your style and presence. If you don’t have an existing clip, you’re welcome to film a short sample on your phone for submission.

  • Entertainment applications close Saturday 27 June 2026 at 5pm
  • All applications will be reviewed and selected by the TEDxAlbury Selection Panel
  • A submitted application does not secure your place at the event.
  • If your EOI is accepted, we will confirm via email. A letter of agreement will be provided.
  • Once you submit an application, it will stay in our database to be considered for future TEDxAlbury conferences. You may email at any time to have this removed.
